Blog report #14

It’s my blog report #14. Ye seul and I met yesterday as we planned,  the project was going well. I bought a white thick poster board to make our final portfolio. We decided to put 14 pictures on the board, it contains 5 project pictures, 5 best photos from me and 4 best shots from Ye seul. Originally, Ye seul planned to put 5 best shots from her camera but we don’t have enough space on the board so she decided to put just 4 pictures.  Overall, we've done the Korean nation flag project, AJHS letters, and sky changing. We will meet again this weekend and we will be done with the heart shape and JH cross letters. During I make the Korean national flag project, the photo shop didn't work properly but soon I had a solution and coped successfully. It was little bit tough but I feel very meaningfully because I learned many things about the photo shop program. And we will write a description on this Friday 20%project time for each picture.

Blog report #13

This is my blog report report 13. The last week was almost last week to prepare our final portfolio, so we tried to finish our projects. We planned to meet last week Saturday or Sunday but unfortunately we couldn't meet because we had some appointments. So we will meet this week, I think it will be Saturday or Sunday. If we meet, we will go to mart to buy a big poster board for our final portfolio and some materials for decorating it. We plan to hang pictures on a rope with long tongs. There will ne three ropes on a poster board and we will hang about 20 pictures or more. Also we will decorate the poster board with some stickers or drawing something about our project. We didn't decide detail things yet so we will decide some final things when we meet this week. After we have a meeting, I will write the progress in my next blog report.

Blog report #12

This is my blog report #12. Last week, we decided few things about our projects. First of all, we changed our final plan. We had chosen power point presentation for our final portfolio but we thought that was too common and is not memorable. So, we thought using a poster board is much better than creating power point. We will fill it with our flag, heart shape, JH cross (letters), sky changing and AJHS (letters). We will put our flag in the middle of the poster board and fill another spaces with other ones. I think it will be a nice final portfolio which is very memorable and meaningful. Second, we started on JH cross letters project. We make each letters with using variety materials such as shoes, rocks or handwriting. And that project will be finished with stick them together. We are planning a meeting for finishing up our 20% project. I think it will be this weekend and we will try to finish up our project.

Blog report #11

This is my 11^th blog report. Last week, I tried to get finished on my flag project but there were some difficulties to finish. We had to use photo shop program to get stuck the pictures to make a flag form. However, Photo shop program is too advanced to use for me. I searched for solution but it didn't work well for me. I really will get finished the flag in several days. Today, I made ‘AJHS’ letters with banana. Our plan was not that one but I wanted to increase skills to take pictures. I took pictures from all the different angles and tried to know the differences. I promised with Mrs. Raville that I will be going to take pictures from different angles and know the differences from last Friday group conference. I did it but I didn't catch something enough, so I will try again as soon to know direct differences.

Blog report #10

This is my 10^th blog report. Last week, I looked up some information about how to use a photo shop program. I knew that there are so many things that I can do with it such as making a picture likes a painting. I can make it with one simple touch and it was new to me. I thought I can use it when I edit my pictures for the 20% project. Last Friday, Mrs. Raville told us that we have not enough time to finish up the projects. I think we did half of our project until now. We have to boost up and should have something to make our final presentation portfolio. Our this week goal is to finish the flag project which is decorated with Korean foods. It’s really excited to wait to see a nice result of our project! I will report our result on this week blog report. Thank you.

blog report #9

This is my blog report #9. I went to a trip last week so unfortunately I couldn't participate on my project. However, I took many pictures during the trip. I think it helped to gain my ability in photography. I went to Los Angles  Grand Canyon, Bryon Canon, Yosemite Park, Las Vegas, and San Francisco. This trip was little bit tough to me but I think it was very meaningful and it was really beautiful also. And I met a person during the trip who is really like to take pictures, he gave me advises about photography. He showed me some pictures that he took before, those were really awesome and professional. I thought I can be as him after more practices and more efforts. Those pictures really motivated me about photography, so I will be learning more passionately than before. Finally, these are pictures that I took while I’m traveling!

Blog report #8

This is my 8^th blog report. Actually this week, we haven’t done anything. We just checked our progress and planned to make a nice final presentation. We downloaded photo shop program to make one shape with sticking multiple pictures. I felt the photo shop program is really hard to control. I've seen many lessons in Korean cite about how to do photo shop. To get better job, I need to learn how to control photo shop. It’s almost different with paint (which is in our computers) program. Photo shop needs detail hand skill to revision pictures than Paint program. Of course, photo shop program has more functions than Paint. It’s all helpful functions and also it was new to me. I think controlling photo shop is also need to us to make good results. I will be trying to learn more about photo shop, and we will start our new one as soon as possible!

Blog report #7

It’s my blog report #7. We just started on our third project.  The third one is taking pictures of Korean foods. At first we planned to fill a table with Korean foods’ pictures, but we changed it to make a Korean flag with those pictures. Because to make a flag is more meaningful and joyful to us. So yesterday I took some pictures of what I have in my home. Unfortunately, there weren't many foods in my refrigerator. Then I decided to take some pictures of many kinds of kimchi. Also, I pictured Korean red pepper paste.I took kkkdoogi (It is made with Korean white radish. It’s similar with Kimchi, but we made it with white radish instead of cabbages.), cucumber kimchi (It’s kimchi, but it’s not red. It’s similar with pickle.) and basic kimchi. There are more kinds of kimchi, but those are what I could find in my refrigerator yesterday. If I can find more kinds of kimchi, I will show those next week!

 

Blog report #6

We started on new thing and had a solution for the heart shape project! We decided to go with easy way. We just stuck pictures together and that pictures might be red. And those pictures create a form of heart, but not a detail heart shape. We think it’s much easier than create a detailed heart shape with using our arms and hands. So we need total 22 pictures to make it, and we are still working on it. I think it will be finished as soon. Otherwise, we just started our new one, sky project! We take pictures per hour in a day. We took the pictures last Saturday, and the weather was perfect for taking pictures. I thought it was a great chance to do our sky project, because the weathers were bad before the Saturday. So it took much time but I think it was good to see a changing of the sky!

Blog report #5

 

This is my fifth blog report. This week, we decided to change our plan. We thought making 6 complicated shapes are too hard. So we will do heart shape, JH cross letters shape and the Korean national flag. Also, we will keep sky project and food project. And we changed camera shape. We haven’t decided a new plan, this week’s plan will be finish the heart shape and make a new plan for the camera shape. And we also think about replace to another shape instead of camera. So, I will write my plan on my blog about the new plan for the camera. Last week, we did research project in our class. I went to many cites that helping me to learn about photography. I had five research question, and I researched about them and made note cards. I had learned many things during the research. That cites will be good source to me to learn new things about photography.

#4 Blog report

This is my fourth blog report about our project. Actually we didn't have much time to do our project. We keep working on the heart shape. We had some time to work on research project about 20% time in the class time, we had found some helpful sites which can help our project. I found 4 sites and these sites have so much information all about photography. I can question them or can read some information, so I think it will be very helpful to learn more. Ye seul and I take pictures individually. We don't have extra time to meet after the school time to. So we plan to meet at weekend if we have enough time, and we will talking about what we pictured, or about our next shapes. I think we are doing fine right now, and we plan to our next photograph, the change of the sky! This project will be finished than other ones, because I think it is the most easiest project from our shapes.

Third report

 

This is my third blog report. We just started to take some pictures to make a heart shape. I’m trying to find and take pictures of red things. We were not sure about how many pictures to we have to take to make a shape. Because we’ve never tried this one before. Last Friday, we searched on other people’s result of this kind of picture. We thought we will need about 20 pictures to make a shape. However, the hard part of this progress is using our hand. W decided to make a layer of the heart shape with our hands, but it’s not working well. I took my bag, note, uniform, binder, workbook, book and clipboard for my red stuffs. During taking pictures of these, I thought I have much stuff that has red color. Our project is going well and we will cope with our problems as soon as possible!

My plan

Ye seul and I planned about the project’s theme and detail things. We decided to make some shapes with our pictures. There are heart, AJHS(letters), JH cross (which is a team name of us),Korean national flag, and a plate (we will fill this with food’s pictures). The way that we chose is separate pictures by their colors. And we make a shape with sticking pictures that have similar colors. We will use hands to make a heart shape, use shoes and sock’s color to make a AJHS letters, use Ye seul and my pictures to use JH cross, use pictures that is about Korea to make the Korean national flag, and use food’s pictures that we made or ate to make a plate shape. A final portfolio will be a power point presentation and also we will upload our final portfolio on our blogs! We will make a best result and do our best to make it.

About my project

This blog will be about my English9 class project. Ye seul Hwang will be working with me. Our project is photographs. We got same cameras at the same time when was 1 month ago, but we are professional  at taking pictures. So we decided to learn more in the 20% time, and we will make a nice photo folio with our pictures. It will be not good as that much, but we will do our best. I’m not sure about my mentor yet, but I think the mentors of me are all the people who are good at taking pictures. Bloggers about photographs and professional photographers are my mentors. I will search about them and learn from them. There will be many things to learn for me. I should study the functions about my camera Canon T3i. I wanted to use it but I didn’t knew how to use it properly. So, I will do my best and we will make a good result in the 20% time!
